Installation

• Open the Settings menu on your device and navigate to Apps.

• Find and select WeChat from the list of installed apps.

• Enter your license key when prompted to install and activate the app. If you're using the cloud version, the app should already be active.

• Visit the registration page for a WeChat Service account at https://mp.weixin.qq.com/cgi-bin/readtemplate?t=register/step1_tmpl&lang=en_US.

• Complete the registration process to create your Service account.

• Once registered, access the Official accounts area.

• From the left menu, click on Settings and development, then select WeChat verification. You will need to complete the verification process, which may take a few weeks and cost USD 99 or CNY 300 for Chinese entities.

• Return to the left menu and click on Settings and development, then select Basic configuration.

• Copy the Developer ID (App ID) and Developer Password (App Secret).

• Open the Norbit Chat application and navigate to Settings > WeChat.

• Paste the Developer ID and Developer Password into the corresponding fields.

• Still in the Settings and development menu, select Basic configuration again.

• Complete the server configuration (服务器配置(已启用)).

• In the Server Address (URL) field, enter the URL obtained from Norbit Chat > Settings > WeChat > Synchronization > Get configuration URL.

• In the Token field, insert any value you prefer. Remember to enter the same value in Norbit Chat > Settings > WeChat > Token.

• Congratulations! You have successfully set up WeChat integration. All messages sent to your WeChat account will now appear in the conversation admin area of Norbit Chat.
